Knee problem
Hello dr ,5 days before during playing football my knee get twisted and a poping sound came out of it, next day i went to dr he took x-ray and there is no problem in bones since i'm a student so didn,t prefer me MRI .he advised me to have kachcha plaster but I refused it. then he told me to wear knee cap and take rest give me medicines.but swelling of whole leg is still.no pane ist here but can,t bend leg fully .the injury is in left knee and left side of knee i feel like

• Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation. • : Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying • Quadriceps strengthening exercises- • Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Your history is suggestive of either collateral ligament or Meniscus injury. You Should take rest for know. Use long knee immobiliser, Apply local ice packs, keep leg elevated on pillow and get MRI of knee when swelling subsides. MRI will make the diagnosis clear and then further plan of treatment can be decided.
