Knee popping/cracking and pain
Hello, when I was around 12, I started having knee problems, such as pain locking, and popping. My knee never swelled, but it would always hurt whenever I moved to much or put on my weight on it when crouching or bending. I went to the doctor for it, and had an xray done, and they told me I was just having growing pains. I'm 18 years old now, and I've continuously still had knee pain throughout the years, in both knees. The pain isn't constant, but do I need to get another xray or MRI done?

Hi your knee pain might be due to lateral tracking of patella. MRI will definitely helpful to rule out causes of pain. If it is negative you benefit from Quads / VMO exercise
