Knee pain while walking / running
I have had my tibia and fibula completely fractured on 5 October 2017 due to an accident, IM Nailing was done on 6 October 2017 with 5 interlocking bolts, two on the knee end and three on ankle end. I got all the 5 interlocking bolts removed on 24 June 2018 as it was hurting on just below the knee. The thigh muscles are still bit weak as compared to left leg though i exercise regularly. The main problem is when i walk, i get a sharp pain just below the knee (at points from where the bolts were inserted/removed & at patellar tendonitis point) Its been 1 year now, the bones which broke are completely healed. Its just the knee pain which is not going. I really want to get back playing football again but i cannot run as it pains (sometimes mild, sometimes sharp) due to which i run limping. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.
