I have slight pain in both the knees whlie bending or climbing stairs. I hve statred doing knee exercise for the same. I hve a habit of walking for 45 mins ( two times ie 1.5 hours) in a day. I dont feel any pain or discomfort while walking. Is it safe for my knees if i walk for 1.5 hours in a day?

Hi Practo User, Walking is always good. Please follow a few other things as well: Don't walk on hard or concrete surface. Don't walk up and down the stairs. Wear properly padded soft shoes. Don't sit cross-legged on the floor or use a Indian toilet. Regards.
