Osteoarthritis is due to degenerative changes occurring in the body with loss of cartilage between the joints.. It is usually a gradual process and increases slowly over the years..
Next Steps
You can control it to some level with the help of some exercises,  by applying analgesic ointment, take analgesic tablet for pain relief when needed, apply knee support like knee cap or brace while walking.. I will also suggest you to continue with the exercises and physiotherapy to maintain the strength and mobility of the knee joint. If the problem is severe, you may require to go for surgical procedure for Total knee joint replacement..
Health Tips
Avoid sitting down,  avoid heavy work,  avoid Indian toilet..
