Clinical examination and MRI findings are very important in deciding treatment options...conservative management can be tried in partial tear patients...try hamstring strengthening exercises and take over the counter pain medications...avoid squatting, crossed legged sitting, playing strenuous sports or activities...if no improvements you should get examined by arthroscopic surgeon they will help you further.

Avoid Indian toilet, don't sit on the floor. There is no specific food for this problem. Go for an MRI KNEE JOINT to access the severity of the problem. Follow the instructions as per ORTHO. Weight reduction must.
