Hi Doc, My sis infected with UTI since one months . Culture report says Klebsiella spa bacteria. It takes longer time to cure?.Pls inform. She is taking antibiotics Nitrofurantoin

Hello,
She should continue with the prescribed antibiotic medicine and drink lots of water to get relief from the infection.

I assume that report says that klebsiella is sensitive to nitrofurantoin. Just continue medications for 10 days. Drink 3 or more lit of water everyday.
