Hi Doc, My sis infected with UTI since one months . Culture report says Klebsiella spa bacteria. It takes longer time to cure?.Pls inform. She is taking antibiotics Nitrofurantoin

Hi her treatment is on right tract complete the course n get urine routine done again, also if required culture too.

I assume that report says that klebsiella is sensitive to nitrofurantoin. Just continue medications for 10 days. Drink 3 or more lit of water everyday.
