My father is a chain smoker .can you suggest some plan that may help him to quit smoking? Your response is highly appreciated

Hi there. I can understand that a family member smoking can be a really stress issue. I would suggest going to a de-addiction center. They would put your father on certain medications that will help with the craving and going to a therapist can also help to break the cycle of dependence on smoking.

Decide a date. Say 60 days from now. Halve the number of cigarettes every 15 days. Replace them with nicotine lozenges. Don't move to the next step unless u have mastered the previous one.. All the best

There is a medicine available in Ayurveda that helps. But, it has to happen in tandem with a deaddiction counselling. Visit the deaddiction counselor first. Then turn to Ayurveda. We can also take care of his withdrawal symptoms that begins after he slowly reduces smoking
