Have you consulted orthopedic surgeon???as your condition may require MRI to diagnose and treat accordingly...give adequate rest, apply ice old pack, a bag of frozen vegetables or a towel filled with ice cubes for about 15 minutes at a time. Do this every four to six hours the first day or two, and then as often as needed.Take pain killers....since you are complaining about obstruction of hip mostly you are talking about lock knee..for which you need to consult nearest orthopedic surgeon as you may require surgery to correct it.
