My friend is having a joint pain in his right shoulder. He's not able to move it up freely and feels severe pain when he tries to. Also, the position of his right shoulder looks slightly higher than the left one. Please suggest how this can be fixed and if there are any exercises to fix this. Thanks.

Since how long this problm is there
Any history of trauma fall or shoulder got pulled. Weight lifting ?
Need proper examination for about movements at shoulder joint and to check clinically which muscle is affected or its just shoulder pain .
Pain in shoulder can be due to many reasons
1. bursitis (Inflammation)
2. Musle sprain
3. Muscle tear or ligament or labrum injuries.
For 3rd one you might need MRI AFTER CLINICAL EXAMINATION DONE BY ORTHO
