Jogging with ankylosing spondylitis
Hi there! I have been diagnosed with AS about 13 months ago and I am doing pretty well since then, I just have little flare ups occasionally . My question is, can I perform jogging or any other running exercises (boxer jump in jumping rope/skkiping) ? I make sure the impact isn't much. Please, answer me thoroughly about this.

Hi . Movement in Ankylosing spondylitis is a good thing to do , but you have to very carefull about the physical exercises you do in meanwhile . As you are in your early 20s it can flare up in late teenties. Proper rehab protocols should be followed with medications so that your hip and sacral joints are spared and proper strengthening can be done .
