Jaw plate to be removed
Jaw was stitched and plate was fit during accident. Now does it needs to be removed? It causes some pain sometimes and mouth doesn't open properly. Please guide.

hi you should immediately consult your oral and maxillofacial surgeon who had done your plating. If the plates are of titanium they generally do no harm and are never removed . they stay there life long but there should be no pain.
