I am not able to open my mouth wide enough. Having a problem while eating spicy things, because of that I am not able to chew food properly and while swallowing I am having problem and I got this gum swelling

hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. you can do hot fomentation near your ear. this will give you some relief. its better to see the case clinically so that a proper diagnosis can be achieved. the dentist will give you a proper treatment plan.

Reduce mouth opening can be due to various reason most common reasons are 1.impacted wisdom tooth( if u r above 25 and your wisdom tooth is partially or not erupted)2. Oral sub mucous fibrosis( if u have history of Tobacco chewing)3. Mpds( pain in muscles of jaw).
