Jaw Lock: Pain while opening mouth

I am experiencing pain in my jaw (right side) while opening mouth. Seems to be jaw lock problem. Can you suggest what I need to do and which doctor can treat this problem?

Please consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the earliest. Meanwhile avoid wide opening of your mouth especially while yawning and laughing. Try to avoid heavy food that requires vigorous biting and chewing.
