IVF pregnancy diagnosed with IUGR
Hi Doc, I'm 33 years old, and had an IVF Pregnancy. I am currently at 19 weeks and my doctor diagnosed my baby with IUGR. My baby's Abdomen measures at 15 weeks and BPD is at 17 weeks. All tests and ultrasound were normal at 15 weeks. We are yet to do placental scan to diagnose the issue. Please advice! Will my baby be okay? I have a history of previous IVF pregnancy miscarriage at 17 weeks due to PPROM. But root cause was unknown.

IUGR so early on pregnancy is not a good development. Medical measure should continue,Tab Ecosprin and Inj Low molecular weight heparin are both mandatory. If baby has no anomalies , conservative management hopefully can give reasonable outcome if pregancy can be made to advance till 32 weeks. One can only pray to God and hope for the best.Prayers work wonders.Wish you all the best
