I have vitamin b12 deficiency. I have to take b12 shots. what type of syringe and needle is best for this purpose and at which body part this IV injection can be given so that less pain occur? please reply

If you are suffering from vitamin B12 deficiency,  then May be you are suffering from vitamin B-complex and folic Acid deficiency concorrently,  which can be treated effectively by oral vitamin B-complex and folic Acid supplements,  then why to suffer from painful injections which is uncomfortable. Hi, Ideally 24 gaze needle comes for Intramuscular injections and it should be taken best in the muscular part so that pain  will be less mostly in the gluteal (buttocks)  area. If it is recommended intravenous then cubital vein are the best. Go as per the doctors prescription and take it by medical professionals. Hope this might be helpful to you.
