Itching in body and private parts
I am breastfeeding mom. My baby is 4 month old. I have an itching problem after my c sec delivery . Earlier the itching was in the private parts, now it has started occurring in the whole body. The itching in the genitals is like a fungal infection. I applied neem oil which gave me relief but as soon as I stop applying it, it starts again. I consulted an Ayurvedic doctor. He prescribed me this medicine Baidyanath raktashodhak tablet(2-2) kaishore guggulu (2-2) haridra khand and avipattikar churn. (Mix 1 spoon morning evening), I am afraid to take medicine because my child is still small and is breastfed. I am very worried. I want quick relief from my itching problems. Please tell me if I can take these medicines.Or any other medicine which can give me relief, I have already bought these medicines.please advice me 🙏🏻

our postpartum itching, especially in private parts and spreading to the whole body, suggests Pitta-Kapha imbalance with possible Ama (toxins) accumulation and fungal overgrowth. Since you are a breastfeeding mother, Ayurvedic medicines should be chosen carefully to ensure safety for your baby. Can You Take These Medicines While Breastfeeding? ✅ Baidyanath Raktashodhak Tablet – Safe; helps purify blood and reduce skin irritation. ✅ Kaishore Guggulu – Safe; anti-inflammatory and detoxifying. ✅ Haridra Khand – Safe; supports skin healing and reduces itching. ✅ Avipattikar Churna – Generally safe but may cause loose stools in your baby (through breast milk). If this happens, reduce the dose or skip it. Additional Ayurvedic Remedies for Quick Relief: 1️⃣ Neem Oil & Coconut Oil Mix – Continue applying to the affected areas. You can also mix camphor in coconut oil for extra relief. 2️⃣ Bath with Neem & Triphala Decoction – Boil neem leaves and Triphala powder in water, cool, and use as bath water. 3️⃣ Aloe Vera Gel & Turmeric Paste – Apply locally to soothe irritation. Diet & Lifestyle Recommendations: Avoid spicy, fermented, and oily foods that increase Pitta. Eat cooling foods like coconut water, buttermilk, and fresh fruits. Drink coriander & fennel seed water to detox naturally. Wear loose, cotton clothing to prevent further irritation. Conclusion: You can safely take the prescribed medicines while continuing external treatments for faster relief. Follow this for 2-3 weeks and consult again if symptoms persist. Don’t worry—you will feel better soon! ❤️🙏
