Dear Patient • Your cough is probably due to allergic airway inflammation / post nasal drip / bronchitis rather than infection because mucus is white and IgE is elevated • The itching started after stopping hormonal tablets so it can be drug-related allergy or hormonal fluctuation triggered urticaria • Sometimes steroids like Ivepred help both cough and allergy temporarily but do not treat the root cause if allergy exposure continues What you should do For cough • Steam inhalation twice daily • Warm fluids avoid cold drinks curd at night dust exposure • Continue inhaler or medicines if pulmonologist prescribed • Montelukast based anti allergic tablet at night is often helpful if not already taken For itching • Continue non sedating antihistamine like Bilastine or Fexofenadine daily for 2 to 3 weeks • Apply calamine or soothing lotion on itchy areas • Use mild soap and moisturizer regularly • Avoid new cosmetics perfumes tight clothing Tests if not improving • Absolute eosinophil count • Repeat IgE after few weeks • Liver function test (sometimes itching can be metabolic) For proper evaluation and complete treatment plan you can consult me or text me on Practo anytime.

Based on the information you shared, your symptoms most likely point to an allergic reaction, possibly drug-induced urticaria (allergy), along with an underlying allergic tendency. This condition is treatable and not dangerous if properly managed. With correct identification of the trigger and adequate duration of treatment, itching usually settles completely.please consult me on practo for further management and evaluation.
