Issues of low vitamins and iron level
I'm on vitamins and iron. I have attached a copy of this here. In recent times my hair has reduced drastically and I don't have a history of genetic hair loss. Can this be the reason for that. 3- 4 years back the doctor once gave me vitcofol injection for vitamins. Should I take that again ? Please give some suggestions. I also have some digestive issues like a burning feel in my stomach and bad bowel movements.

Yes, deficiencies in iron, vitamin B12, and vitamin D can contribute to hair loss: 1. Iron Deficiency: Known as anemia, iron deficiency can lead to hair loss because iron is essential for producing hair cell protein. 2. Vitamin B12 Deficiency: This deficiency can affect the health of red blood cells, which carry oxygen to your tissues, including the hair follicles. Insufficient oxygen can weaken hair strands and contribute to hair loss. 3. Vitamin D Deficiency: While less directly linked to hair loss compared to iron and B12, vitamin D deficiency has been associated with hair shedding or thinning due to its role in hair follicle cycling and growth.
