I recently went to consult regarding my lasik treatment and since my sight is above 5 they suggested me to get trans prk done. Is it okay or normal lasik can be done?

You have not provided all the information, but based on what you have provided, I think they evaluated that your cornea is more suitable for a TransPRK than LASIK.
You can go ahead with TransPRK,
It is less invasive and more suitable for Thin Corneas (or the ones prone to thinning)
It also has very less chances of post surgery Dry Eyes when compared to Lasik (as your nerves are not cut)
Next Steps
If you need any more information or clarification, please Consult. Thank you
