Hello , prk surgery is a great procedure, however not recommended for power as high as yours as it can result in post op corneal haze.
For this number either Lasik or ICL can be an option, but that can be decided only after a scan of your that is corneal topography is done, based on which the final decision can be made.
Do get the scan done from your nearest doc soon .
Hope this helps !

PRK is the choice refractive surgery. With new developments, in inflammation management , PRK has taken over from LASIK, a procedure with high-risk outcomes. If any body is still preferring LASIK, especially in lower myopic powers, it is their choice or lack of awareness of latest developments. In your case PRK could be done with caution and a caveat that vision might be a bit less with spectacle free state. So the choice is yours. Spectacle free or 1 line less than 6/6. In very myopic errors, definitely ICL IS THE CHOICE.

Hello mam, PRK is conventional surgery with relatively more problems and thus is replaced by LASIK. However there are newer advance techniques to correct such high number with rapid results and very high rate of success, like ICL and ReLEx smile. Therefore get your preliminary exam for knowing which procedure is best in your case. You can visit us free LASIK screening.
Hello ..
PRK is an extremely safe surgery , however would not recommend it at your power as it would lead to higher chances of corneal haze after surgery .
For your power LASIK or implantable lenses called ICLs would be the best option. However the decision for the same has to be undertaken after checking your corneal topography and other parameters and only glass power is not a decision making factor.
Hope , it's useful :)
