This report is not immediately life-threatening, but it is not normal and should not be ignored. Key concerns in your report: • hs-CRP: 23.05 → Significantly high (strong inflammation in body) • Lipoprotein(a): ~97 → High (genetic cardiac risk marker) • LDL: 135 → Borderline high • HDL: 39 → Low • ESR: >100 → Very high (strong inflammation marker) • TSH: 7.3 → Elevated (hypothyroidism range) • Fasting glucose: 105 → Prediabetic range • eGFR: 75 → Slightly reduced kidney filtration (needs monitoring) What this suggests: There appears to be: • Active inflammation in the body • Thyroid underactivity • Early metabolic risk • Elevated long-term cardiovascular risk (due to Lp(a)) The most concerning immediate values are ESR >100 and hs-CRP 23, which suggest something inflammatory or infectious is ongoing. This is not panic-level, but it definitely requires structured evaluation.
Next Steps
✔ 1. Repeat and Confirm Within 1–2 weeks: • Repeat ESR • Repeat hs-CRP • Repeat TSH + Free T4 • Repeat fasting glucose If inflammation markers remain high → further workup needed. ⸻ ✔ 2. Check for Causes of Inflammation Doctor may evaluate for: • Recent infection • Autoimmune disease • Chronic inflammatory condition • Dental/urinary infections • Joint symptoms ⸻ ✔ 3. Thyroid Management TSH 7.3 suggests hypothyroidism. If confirmed on repeat testing → may require thyroid medication. ⸻ ✔ 4. Cardiac Risk Strategy Because Lp(a) is high: • LDL must be aggressively controlled • Lifestyle correction is essential • Possibly medication depending on full risk profile
Health Tips
✔ Do not ignore very high ESR ✔ Correct thyroid early to prevent weight gain and fatigue ✔ Start structured exercise ✔ Reduce processed and fried foods ✔ Improve sleep ✔ Monitor blood sugar closely ✔ Avoid smoking completely This report is not alarming today, but it is a warning signal for inflammation and long-term cardiovascular risk. Because multiple systems are involved (thyroid, cardiac risk, inflammation, sugar levels), this requires a proper integrated evaluation rather than isolated advice. I strongly recommend booking an online consultation so we can systematically interpret all values together and create a clear treatment and monitoring plan before complications develop.

The main problem is very high ESR. Rest of them are deranged slightly. Unfortunately you did not mention any changes with your health. Do the following, 1. Blood tests: LDH, ANA, ANCA, Serum protein electrophoresis, Triglycerides, LFT, Calcium, kappa/lambda ratio 2. Urine test: urine protein electrophoresis (for Bence Jones Protein) 3. Stool test: ova and parasites 4. CT scan of chest, abdomen and pelvis 5. DEXA scan 6. See a blood specialist (Haematologist) to make sure it is not MGUS or Multiple Myeloma All the best. www.jgsr-health-education.in
