I've am been facing a problem from past 2 years.There was a lump popping out of the anus after passing stool it used to reduce spontaneously after defecation .Later with passing days it has increased its size and became like a hemisphere (6'o clock to 12'o clock)even now it reduces after a while or after standing soon after passing stool.The lump is huge inside the anal canal pressing the right side of the canal )|.There was blood in stool only once 2 years back, now there is no bleeding .But there is soreness sometimes after passing stool,itchyness is there .And troubles after sitting for a long period.I use to sitz bath often the lump seems to reduce its size merely but again it comes to original size.

This could be a case of haemorrhoids with concomitant anal fissure.initial treatment will include:-
A. Syp Lactulose 15-20 ml at bedtime
B. T. naproxen 500 twice daily for 5 days( for pain relief)
C. T. Rablet 20 dsr once daily before breakfast for 10 days
D. Oint. Osil (apply before and after defecation and twice daily)
E. Sitz bath with betadine solution. Symptoms will decrease by 2 weeks.
If symptoms persist, it's better to visit a rectal surgeon for further management. Certain types of operation maybe required such as stapler hemmoroidectomy/ laser surgery (based on surgeon's preferance)
