I am a 29-year-old male.
Since childhood, I have had severe focus problems and I cannot sit still (I keep walking/pacing).
About 4 years ago, a psychiatrist diagnosed me with ADHD. ADHD medicines did not work well for me.
I have been trying meditation for the last 6 months, but I still cannot focus on my breath for more than 1–2 seconds. There is no improvement.
I am planning to take L-theanine (200–400 mg) about 1 hour before meditation, only for initial days, to help me focus, and then stop.
Is this a good idea?
What is the recommended starting dose?
Any better or safer alternative you suggest?
Looking for expert medical advice. Thank you.

Hello Sir
ADHD diagnosis in adults requires many symptoms in adulthood as it becomes little clumsy to diagnose ADHD
And also there are various medicines to treat ADHD and has seperate dosage system to treat it adequately
And also there might be other things or other medicines which might help you better and hence requires further elaboration of symptoms
Next Steps
kindly contact me on seven. nine. seven. four six zero. eight. one nine. nine or kindly consult online for further management and treatment
Which ADHD medication were you tried on and what dose??….. should consider traditional ADHD meds in correct dose rather than l-theanine as they have better evidence
