Your Opinion: From the photo and your symptoms, the lesions appear consistent with a fungal infection of the thighs (tinea cruris / tinea corporis), which can cause itching, burning, and irritation in areas such as the thighs and hips. Your eosinophil count (1600) is elevated and can sometimes be seen with allergic conditions, parasitic infections, or certain skin reactions, but it is not usually caused by a simple fungal infection alone. Therefore, it would be advisable to evaluate the eosinophilia separately. Helpful Tips / Word of Caution: • Avoid steroid combination creams, as they can worsen fungal infections. • Do not scratch the area, as it can increase irritation and secondary infection. • Wash clothes and undergarments properly and dry them in sunlight. You may consult with me online through the app for detailed evaluation and treatment.
