Is glucobay M 50 safe during pregnancy
I am 34 weeks pregnant .I am not pre diabetic .since conception to 33 weeks my HBA1c is 5.5 since 20th weeks fasting till 95 n pp till 145 .since last two weeks fasting till 90. pp (lunch )till 120 n pp after dinner till 135 without any medication. But for dinner values diabetologist prescribed half glucobay M 50 before dinner .as per Google it should b avoided during pregnancy .please provide guidance

Hi., I can understand your concern. It's not advisable. Recheck fasting and pp tomorrow, if it's high, Can take either metformin plain or insulin.
