I have been diagnosed Irritable bowel syndrome now due to persistent digestive problem at the age of 32 . But the problem was since my very childhood. It is believed that ibs is due to taking stress but my question is a 5 year old boy had which type stress as I lived at village, here was no rat racing???

There are other reasons for IBS as well, likesome food intolerance, gut microbiology changes, prior G.I. infections.

You are absolutely right sir !! Stress is one of the cause of IBS and not the only cause for IBS. There are various factors like frequent infections, antibiotic use,food and water contamination , irregular meal patterns are also causes of IBS and stress helps it to increase the severity of IBS.
