Irregular periods
I am facing irregular periods issue from past 2 years. I have consulted doctors physically multiple times. They say it's harmonal imbalance meanwhile they give medicines and period becomes regular for 3-4 months and then again irregularity starts. I did my USG pelvis ultrasound ovaries are fine no clots in them. Had thyroid test done no thyroid. Currently I had my last period on 5th Jan 2026 till now ( 26 march) I haven't got my periods yet. My pregnancy kit is also negative . Can any doctor tell me about the issue?

I think you need detailed hormonal evaluation and testing and depending on the results further  treatment should be planned

1. Induce a Cycle : Since your last period was in early January, your doctor will likely prescribe a short, safe course of a progesterone-like medication to induce a withdrawal bleed and shed the uterine lining. 2. Comprehensive Hormonal Profiling : To find the missing link, a more detailed fasting blood panel is necessary. This is ideally done on Day 2 or Day 3 of your induced cycle. This panel should include: * Serum Prolactin: Elevated levels can suppress periods. * FSH and LH: To evaluate pituitary function and ovarian reserve. * Androgen Profile (Free Testosterone, DHEAS): Sometimes, chemical imbalances exist even if the ovaries look perfectly normal on an ultrasound (which can be a variant of PCOS). * AMH : To check your overall ovarian reserve.    3. Evaluate Lifestyle Factors : The reproductive system is highly sensitive. Significant stress, recent weight fluctuations, changes in diet, or intense exercise can completely suppress the hormones needed for a regular cycle

If your ultrasound findings and blood investigations like thyroid and prolactin are normal reason for irregularity is hormonal disbalance The best way to correct hormonal disbalance as to exercise and maintain a healthy body mass index Till then the only way would be hormones
