Iron iv infusion during pregnancy
As i am 20 weeks 4 days pregnant and i have Hb level 8gm and my doctor advised me to take iv iron infusion for 5 days every alternate day .... from tomorrow and m having doubt that today i have to take iron tablets orallyy or not as from tomorrow i am taking iv iron infusion .... please help sir/mam

Hello No oral iron is required if you are taking iv iron. Oral iron to be restarted only after iv therapy is over
