Intense back pain from a long period.
My mother is suffering from back pain from a long time. Sometimes its bearable but sometime its worse. We tried massaging using massaging oil along with hot water bag. Can you please suggest a specialist , i can consult to.

Back is very complex structure degenerative changes in disc or facet joint can give rise to chronic pain Just back cant point out exact cause of pain if pain radiating in the leg increases after walking and forward bending probably its disc pain If its restricted to back and deep referred pain in the leg and pain on backward bending cld be because of facet joint Osteoporosis is one reason for back pain Need to see the patient in person to come to some conclusion Please consult if you feel necessary

Avoid forward bending, avoid lifting of heavy weights.  Analgesic gel application locally, hot water fomenation. Backstrentheing exercises after pain subsides. If problem persists get orthopedic consultation to get her properly evaluated and treatment needed.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate the patient  in detail. Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or any other metabolic disorder, if there's  any. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold air. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for spine and hips . --.(Take help of a  physiotherapist). --Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. --Do ask for a detailed treatment plan.
