Hello,
I had a blood test for vit D where result shows the vit D content as 23.9ng which is considered as insufficient.What diet should be followed to increase the vit D content or any tablets for the same.I'm a vegetarian and had a B12 deficiency as well.

Vitamin D Deficiency
SX - late walking in children, frontal bone protrusion, chronic muscle pains and aches.
PE - Stooped Stature, Bow Legs, Periosteal bone pain.
TX - Vitamin D deficiency Tx: Ergocalciferol (Vitamin D2) 50,000 units, 1 PO QWeekly x 8 weeks OR Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 50,000 units, 1 PO QWeekly x 8 weeks
