Insomnia and anxiety
Having trouble sleeping. Even if I feel sleepy - my eyes start burning I can't sleep. If I try forcing myself to meditate or just lie in one position to sleep - I fidget and then get anxious and then at times leading to mild anxiety attacks. If I do end up sleeping forcefully I get nightmares & panic attacks.

It seems as if you are having some insecurity issues underlying your insomnia. I suggest you try to address these issues consciously. Please talk to someone you can confide in, a friend or a counsellor. Relax yourself with some good music. When you meditate , let the thought just come and go. Do not try to resist thinking, that is impossible. Imagine your mind as clear blue sky and the thoughts as clouds, they will come and float by,but the mind will always remain the same clear blue. If you. try to stop thoughts you will only hold on to them more firmly. Every thought. negative or positive, only has a natural life of 72 seconds in our mind , but when we hold on to it. Think of why it happened I could have done this n that,we increase the life of thoughts. So don't attend negative thoughts, let them pass by , no thought can stay unless you make it. When bad things happen to us, we question "Why did it happen to me?" , but do u ever ask the same question when you get a prize ? Think about it, it's a paradox but it's amazing how quickly negativity adds up. When you meditate, try a guided meditation. Eat a light meal at night ,and for a few days try to change your sleeping arrangements. position of bed , night light , if you sleep alone then try to make some arrangements like sleeping in the same room with your mother or sister. If you are in hostel then maybe have a friend sleep in your room for a few days. Changing the direction of bed also helps. Try sleeping in East West direction rather than north south. Take up some light reading before bed time. Reading happy fantasy helps. If you need further help please connect with me personally. Homoeopathy. can cure these symptoms without addiction. Try to avoid sleeping pills as you may get habituated. All the best. I am also a Reiki master. so I shall send you healing tonight ,with the intention of you having a deep and restful sleep with happy dreams or no dreams. Take care.
