Ingrown toenail

Asked for Male, 27 Years

About 3 months ago my right toenail was permanently removed. The surgeon removed the complete nail matrix so that the nail doesn't grow back. Now it looks like this (see pic). I am not a diabetic but i am a bit worried about the blackish portion. Is it healed?
