Hi All,
I am having ingrown toe nail from long time and it was not paining but now there is some swelling on it and there was water from corner of the nail
Is it necessary to operate it and how major the surgery is?

Ya get it operated...it's a minor surgery.... water must be pus it would have got infected...so better get it removed.

Yes it definitely needs to be removed, otherwise will lead to infection/inflammation and abscess of the part. Take antibiotics and painkiller and get it removed

Its infected. You need to surgically remove it. Its a minor procedure done under local anesthesia
