Infertility
Hi, I'm 33 having hypothyroidism and using thyronorm 75mcg. I'm trying for second pregnancy and my 1st pregnancy is natural. I had done hsg test and the report is normal.im having irregular periods.Doctor suggested me ovaashield tablets and on day 17 follicle size is 19mm and I have given hcg 5000 shot to release egg but on day 19 scan my follicle size is 23*20 mm and again hcg 5000 shot is given. Why after hcg injection also egg growth is there? How much time after hcg shot ovulation occurs?

It takes 36 hours post Hcg shot for ovulation to occur. Follicles size of 23x20 is a good size too. Ensuring that cold chain of Hcg injection is minted is very important for egg release
