Even after continuing the fungal infection tablet itraconazole for 45 days and applying luliconazole, patches like this are appearing, and pimples are also coming on the stomach. Is this still fungal, or is it something else?

Hi there.... Apologies but one of us appears to have got into this mid-way like a mid life crisis🫣 To know if this is 'still fungal', one has to have clear pics of what it looked like 45 days ago at the outset and more detailed information and history especially if any KOH test was done to confirm a fungal infection in the first place! I'm presuming a dermatologist prescribed the Itraconazole tab and the luliconazole cream...perhaps a good idea to follow up with the same person. If another opinion or a fresh opinion is sought, Kindly feel free to drop into clinics if from Bangalore or go in for an  Online Consultation or an Instant Consultation and will help you clear this issue Asap 🙏
Health Tips
Antifungal treatments are usually to be taken for at least 1-2 weeks post complete clinical clearance. Often, fungal infections are over-diagnosed and perhaps a KOH test may be in order or +/- a skin biopsy and histopathological analysis.
