Infected wound?
Hi doctors,
I'm a mom of 24 days old and currently on exclusive breastfeeding.
I got a wound from plywood on my buttocks about a week ago. It didn't pain at that time but now it seems to be aching. I couldn't get a look at it because its on my back but today i took a pic and it looks swollen and infected?
Can someone please confirm whether this is a problem while breastfeeding? I got tetanus shot in my 2nd month pregnancy. Ive started applying betadine today onwards.. photos attached

This is not related to breast feeding. It is some blunt injury to that area.
Now it is infected.
Please consult with your Gynaecologist regarding the need for antibiotics.

Don't take any antibiotics now as your breast feeding. Clean with savalon and then apply betadine oint.twice daily
