  4. Infant bow leg correction. Pls help.

Infant bow leg correction.
Y son 1yrs 3month old has a bowed left side leg. Below the knee of left leg has a bowing shaped. Due to this shape left side leg shorter than right leg about 1inch. X ray picture shows main bone of left leg below the knee is bent from middle of the bone. Pls help me to correct my son's leg. I consult few aurthopedic doctors in srilanka. One doctor said, we should see about 3 yrs more to have a treatment. One said this case is difficult to solve. I need to know how i can correct this pls help.

Unilateral bowing of leg in a child requires further evaluation. First we have to make a diagnosis and find out the cause of the deformity by doing clinical examination and few radiological test.
