Index finger - swollen, hard, itchy

Hi, the bottom portion of my index finger is hard and slightly swollen, and is very itchy. Attaching a pic with this question. It's been like this since a few months now. Please advise.

It seems to be an allergic dermatitis rash. But the swelling that you are reporting could be indicative of a localized infection.
