Old splinter now a hard painful bump
Hi. I got a splinter in my finger about 5 months back but no matter how hard I try I just cannot find it or get it out. I have now developed a hard bump on this spot which is very sensitive and sometimes painful under pressure. There is definitively a particular spot that is more sensitive than the rest of the area which is pretty much where the original splinter location was. I have cut away the dead skin and tried to find a splinter many times but the bump just reforms after a week or so?
