Increasing eye power
I don't wear my glasses all the time, I wear them only when I need them like during lecture, driving, movies in theaters etc. but NOT while sitting in my room talking to friends or while using a laptop. Should I wear glasses all the time? My eye power has increased by 2.2 dioptres over 5 years. It is most likely to be around 2.75 now. So is it normal or is it because I don't wear my glasses?

Upto -3.0 D myopia is considered to be normal & there are many advantages of being myopic  upto -3d later on,you are short  sighted & need not use glasses for near vision, need only for distant Vision as you are doing but my sincere advice to you ,use eye glasses always except sleeping at night because proper visibility help in mental growth also. You may use  lubricating  eye drops (Refresh liquigel)4-5 times. daily if you work on smartphone or computer for more than 2 hry daily ,with regards Dr Arjun kr Singh Patna
