this procedure is done routinely under local anaesthesia. no doctor will ask you to go for general anaesthesia if you are medically and physically sound. it is a painless procedure under local anaesthesia. besides general anaesthesia will cost you 20 times more. about a week of hospitalisation and a lot of medications.

Local anaesthesia for sure as it is very common procedure and don't take much of discomfort during the procedure and post treatment discomfort is same in both. Also the side effects or chances of adverse effect in general anaesthesia are much more than local anaesthesia.

Well if you are medically fit , and not totally apprehensive the procedure is routinely done under local anaesthesia by specialist oral surgeons . You should get a complete jaw X-ray called OPG and consult an oral surgeon .

Hi A local anaesthesia is sufficient for an impaction and a regular tooth removal. You will have faster recovery and no hospitalisation as in comparison to a GA. And it is more cost effective . Regards
