Impacted wisdom tooth
Hi my sister has impacted wisdom toothache for the past three days. And she went dentist two days before. Doctor recommends to remove her impacted wisdom tooth. So she went clinic today and removed it and did stitches. She feels so much pain and not able to open her mouth even she had taken the pain killer tablets. When will she recover from that pain?

Well it’s absolutely normal to have swelling and pain for next 3-4 days as there would have been some amount of bone cutting involved. There is no need to panic. Both pain and swelling should come down from day 5.
Next Steps
Complete your course of antibiotics and pain killers. Do warm water saline rinses 3-4 times a day preferably after a meal.
