Iliotibial band syndrome
I have been diagnosed with Iliotibial band syndrome for my right leg pain. The onset of pain is in the right thigh bone and hip bone joint and goes till the back thigh muscles, Iliotibial band and down till calf muscles. The pain intensifies during sleeping or sitting postures. Enclosed is the medications prescribed. But the medications and heat therapy haven't worked much for the same. Kindly guide and advise on the Iliotibial band syndrome and treatment options for the same.

Visit a nearby physiotherapy clinic... Heat therapy will not work... You need stretching for your tight iliotibial tract... Physiotherapist will help you out.. regular stretching and exercises will reduce your pain and also will improve your muscles
