I want to know the weeks of my pregnancy

I had irregular periods from last one year about 40 to 45 days and i would like to know the exact weeks of my pregnancy as my doc was calculating feom LMP accorning to her i should be 8 weeks but my ultrasound says Only 5 weeks

although it is not my field as i am a paediatrician but anyway you need to get your scan done again after 4 weeks. as you have irregular cycles, so discrepancy in your gestation is possible but we always calculate from LMP, we call it gestation by dates and another way by 1st trimester ultrasound is very predictable about your gestation and we call it gestation by ultrasound. So don't worry about your gestation, take care of yourself, many congratulation and get your scan done after 4 weeks or as per your obstetrician advised
