I'm mentally drained.
Over a few months, I have noticed myself changing. The things which I used to enjoy doing earlier, now I don't feel like doing them. I either sleep a lot or don't sleep at all. Even after sleeping for more than 10 hours daily, I don't feel fresh at all when I wake up. I have lost my appetite in the past few years. There are a lot of family issues around me due to which I feel negative a lot. Nowadays I constantly feel low on self-esteem. I am a social person but these days I don't feel like talking to anyone in gatherings or even if I want to talk to someone, I can't talk to them. I feel as if something's stopping me from inside. I feel low and sad physically and mentally all the time. It's either I cry a lot at the pettiest thing or I don't cry at all. I'm overwhelmed with emotions all the time. I can't concentrate on my work all day and some issues run on my mind. I feel irritated all the time. I'm not able to understand whether it's normal or I need to consult a psychiatrist.

All the symptoms are suggestive of depressive symptoms but need more history to reach to the conclusion. You should definitely consult.
