Is it normal for people with bipolar depression to have reoccurring thoughts about suicide it doesn't come up as often as it used to but it still happens

Yes it is common symptom,but Not normal.U must consult psychiatrist for medicinal help. Also Consult psychologist for counselling sessions as this recurring thoughts are very must distressing and u have to face it and fight it.

Hello dear, See it's the residual symptoms in Bipolar disorder that pave the way to next episode.. Treatment is must for residual symptoms..So I think as it appears you must be having some more symptoms other than suicidal thoughts..so gather information and Consult a psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and Management of the case... It will help for sure..ok
