Hi, OCD as we know is a long term illness and recovery depends on multiple factors including theme/ distress/ genetic loading/ substance use etc a detailed evaluation is required for work up of OCD to tell conclusivly duration of treatment required (it may be lifelong/ episodic in few cases) also a few tests including MRI Brain and Personality testing may be required in few cases lastly, apart from medication techniques such as CBT, ERP, Thought Stop, Relaxation Training work well in OCD.
Next Steps
See your Psychiatrist and get detailed evaluation done, it requires time and effort.

Need detail evaluation and if required then to increase the dose to get appropriate response. And along with it do therapy sessions.

Most of the times only pharmacotherapy doesn’t help with ocd you need to have psychotherapy sessions combined with your treatment
