lipoma itself in not cancerous and need no treatment unless cosmetic issues are coming. yes biopsy or FNAC are confirmatory but these are invasive. I usually suggest a physical examination and ultrasound examination if required

Lipomas are common problem. If they are there for many years, probably no need to do anything except for cosmetic reasons. But if you notice sudden appearance or enlargement or hardening or ulceration or any other odd features, that may be worrisome. In that case, you must see an oncologist urgently.
