I got bit by street dog
I was bit by dog on 21st of March on my thigh area. It was not very big bite but still blood came. It took 10 mins to come back home and then I cleaned the area with soap and water and also with savlon. After that I took vaccination within an hour and followed the vaccination schedule properly. Now I have completed 4th injection on 4th April. Doctor didn't suggest me immunoglobulin.0,3,7,14 days vaccine are completed From last 2 days I am having headache and bitter taste in mouth. I am having these thoughts now what if I have got rabies or this headache is due to rabies . Please help I was also vaccinated 1.5 years back as my own dog had scratched me for 0,3,7 days schedule.

Since you got your scheduled vaccination properly, your body will have good immunity against the rabies. There's no need to worry. You may have some other infections like flu or something. Kindly visit your physician to get treated for that.

No sir, your headache and taste may be due to another reason altogether get that checked. But please be assured that you have been vaccinated against rabies(after following the correct first aid)   and it is very unlikely that you'll be infected.
